According to the Meteorological Department, temperatures are expected to rise by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius over the next week. During this period, the state will experience clear skies, bright sunshine, and mild, warm winds are expected during the day in the western districts. Additionally, due to the influence of an anticyclone in the Arabian Sea, maximum temperatures may remain 4 to 8 degrees Celsius above normal. There is a strong possibility that the temperature will reach 40 degrees Celsius in some areas of the state between March 8 and 10.
