Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 can be launched next month, will knock with powerful engine and these features

Royal Enfield is working on a new bike for the Indian market. This bike was spotted during pre-launch testing when information about its features and design was available. In late June or early July, this bike is anticipated to be released in India. It will be a Himalayan 450-style bike.

The upcoming neo-retro naked roadster from Royal Enfield is being tested in India; it looks a lot like the Hunter 350 in terms of design. The next bike will have a lot of new features over the Hunter. It has reportedly been updated with many features from the most recent Himalayan version. The Guerrilla 450 nameplate has a trademark application pending. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 is anticipated to go on sale by the end of June or the beginning of July.

It can get a 452 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine. This engine produces a maximum output of 40.02 PS at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 40 Nm at 5,500 rpm in the Himalayan. It will be mated to a 6-speed transmission whereas, a slipper and assist clutch will be standard. Since the bike has been spotted during testing, we get a glimpse of its lightweight design.

Royal Enfield's upcoming bike is expected to get many more features including Bluetooth connectivity and navigation, ride mode, side-mounted exhaust, switchable rear ABS, ride-by-wire throttle along with TFT instrument cluster. It features telescopic forks, a mono-shock unit at the rear, and disc brakes on both wheels with dual-channel ABS.

The upcoming bike will compete with bikes like the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and KTM 390 Duke already present in the market. With a retro design, Guerrilla 450 will try to make a stronghold in this highly competitive segment. The price of this bike is expected to be Rs 2.50 lakh ex-showroom.
