While talking on Star Sports, Clarke said that Rohit is probably tired and he should take a break from IPL. Speaking to Star Sports, Clarke said, "I think he is also tired. Taking a break can do wonders for him, but being an Indian player and being a key player for Mumbai Indians, it is easy for you to take a break. Doesn't exist. So they will have to find the form."

Rohit batted well at the beginning of the IPL. He had scored a brilliant century against Chennai Super Kings but after that, Rohit's bat has not done much.
