Redmi 15C launching soon, features revealed before launch

Redmi 15C can be launched in some global markets soon. An online retailer has listed this handset, showing its design and key features. This phone can be the successor of Redmi 14C, which was launched in some regions in August 2024. According to the listing, the phone can have MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, 4GB RAM, 6,000mAh battery, and 50-megapixel dual rear camera unit. The design is similar to previously leaked images.

The Redmi 15C price can begin at €133.90 (approx. Rs. 13,400) for the 4GB + 128GB version in certain European countries like Italy, as indicated in a listing by Epto.it. The more premium 4GB + 256GB version can cost around €154.90 (approx. Rs. 15,500). The phone has been listed in Mint Green, Moonlight Blue, Midnight Gray, and Twilight Orange colors.

The Redmi 15C could sport a 6.9-inch LCD display that supports 120Hz refresh rate. It could have a MediaTek Helio G81 chipset, which should be coupled with up to 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. As per the listing, the device will have Xiaomi's HyperOS operating system.

Talking about photography, Redmi 15C can have a dual rear camera unit, which can include an AI-backed 50-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel selfie shooter. It can have a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging support.

Connectivity options are expected to include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone can be sized 173.16x81.07x8.2mm and weigh 205g. It can have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

According to listings on popular certification sites, Redmi 15C can also be rebranded as Poco C85. These handsets can be launched in July or later this year.
