Pressure cooker discovered after "Act of Terror" Mangaluru auto explosion
The state police commissioner claimed today that the autorickshaw explosion that occurred in Mangaluru on the coast of Karnataka on Saturday was not an accident but rather an "act of terror with the purpose to do catastrophic harm." Praveen Sood, the top cop in Karnataka, added that both local and federal agencies are involved in the investigation.
The police are receiving help from central investigation teams, according to Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra.
According to sources, the police found a "burnt pressure cooker with batteries" inside the autorickshaw.
The autorickshaw burst next to a building where construction was taking place, injuring two people—the autorickshaw driver and a passenger.
