The lowest variant is priced at approximately ₹72,000 (VX Cast Drum), while the highest variant, the ZX Cast Disc, is priced at approximately ₹79,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new scooter is basically a cheaper, smaller-engined sibling of the Destini 125. It will take on segment favorites like the Honda Activa 110 and TVS Jupiter 110.
The Hero Destiny 110 comes with an air-cooled, single-cylinder 110 cc motor that makes 7.9 bhp and 8.8 Nm of torque. The scooter has telescopic forks up front and a single shock absorber at the back. It also has a semi-digital instrument cluster. The company is offering this model in a total of five color options.
The company claims a fuel economy of 56.2 km/l. It also features Hero's i3S technology (idle stop-start system) and a one-way clutch, which contribute to improved fuel efficiency and performance.
The Hero Destini 110's appearance is largely similar to its larger sibling, the Destini 125. It features a neo-retro design, chrome trim, projector LED headlamps, and distinctive H-shaped LED taillights. The scooter features a 785 mm seat, considered the longest in its segment. It also features an integrated backrest, 12-inch alloy wheels, a front glove box, and three large metal body panels. The top-spec ZX variant also features a 190 mm disc brake at the front.
This new Hero scooter is cheaper than the Honda Activa 110 and more affordable than the top variants of the TVS Jupiter 110. The company will soon make it available in a phased manner across the Hero dealership network nationwide.
