The idea that Hyundai Motor is developing an electric Creta SUV has been around for a while. One of the company's most recent testing mules was spotted on Indian roads, following spy photos that emerged from the Korean automaker's headquarters last month. Tell us about the potential layout and colour scheme of the Creta EV.

Black camouflage is used to hide the Hyundai Creta EV in the video. On the other hand, the 2024 Creta facelift SUV's new signature LED DRLs are striking. Reminiscent of the new Creta SUV are the taillight units and roofrail.

The interior look of the Creta EV has also been revealed for the first time in the video. The design of the steering wheel is similar to that of the Hyundai Kona facelift electric SUV recently introduced in the global market.

This is a three-spoke unit, on which many controls are also provided. Among other things, a new digital instrument cluster is also seen. According to reports, the interior of the Creta EV will have several changes compared to its ICE counterparts.

It could get a redesigned dashboard, a new centre console and a dual-screen setup like the one seen inside the new Hyundai Kona or Ioniq 5 EV, along with touch-based controls for climate control and other features.

Earlier reports suggest that the Hyundai Creta EV will come with many features. These may include a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree surround camera and Level 2 ADS technology.

Hyundai has so far remained tight-lipped about the arrival of the Creta EV. It is expected to get the same electric powertrain, which has been introduced with the Kona Electric SUV. Hyundai could equip the Creta EV with around a 60 kWh battery pack, which is likely to offer a range of around 450 kilometres on a single charge.
