G20 Summit: PM Modi will hold a lunch meeting with French President Macron today, many important issues will be discussed

Today is the second day of the G20 summit held in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to have a lunch meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday.

Actually, Macron had reached India a day earlier to attend the two-day G20 summit organized under the chairmanship of India. During his two-day visit, Macron is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, among others.

"The G20 summit will enable the French head of state to continue the ongoing dialogue with his counterparts from every continent to address the risks the world faces," a statement from Macron's office said.

It also said, "It will also be an opportunity to make progress in implementing joint responses to major global challenges that can only be tackled effectively through multilateral action."
