Electric version of Hero Splendor can be launched in India by 2027
Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero is preparing to bring the electric version (Hero Splendor Electric Launch) of its most popular motorcycle Splendor. According to media reports, Hero Splendor Electric can be launched by the year 2027. Along with this, Hero is also preparing to bring two premium electric bikes which will be equivalent to 150cc and 250cc ICE motorcycles.
Now, many motorcycles and scooters have entered the electric two-wheeler segment. Many companies are also going to bring their new vehicles to increase their electric portfolio. Now, the electric version of Hero's most popular Splendor bike is going to come. The company is preparing to bring it to the Indian market soon. It can be launched in India by the year 2027.
According to media reports, Hero MotoCorp is working to increase its portfolio of electric motorcycles. Recently the company introduced the Vida electric scooter. This report states that the company is working on more than 6 new electric vehicles, which can be launched in the next two to three years.
One of these electric bikes and scooters will be Splendor Electric. Splendor Electric has been termed Hero's most important and ambitious project. It can be launched in India in 2027. Presently, it is being developed at Hero's plant in Jaipur.
The brand is looking to launch the Lynx electric dirt bike alongside Splendor Electric in 2026. Its production can be 10,000 units every year. A companion to Lynx, the Acro Learner Electric Dirt Bike can also be launched for children. It has recently been patented in India.
