New Delhi recently played host to the premiere of the movie "MANDALI," produced by Reltic Pictures. This film seeks to counter the prevailing trend of obscenity and immorality in the modern portrayal of the Ramayana. The lead actor passionately highlights how "MANDALI" challenges the regrettable obscenity associated with the Ramayana in contemporary cinema.
"MANDALI" takes audiences on a profound journey into the life of Purshottam Chaubey, fondly known as Puru, hailing from the heartland of Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The story unfolds as Puru and his cousin, Sitaram Chaubey, set out to depict Lord Laxman and Lord Ram in their purest forms. The film intricately follows Puru's struggles in upholding the sanctity of Ramleela.
During the Delhi premiere, the lead actor, portraying the determined Puru, shared his sentiments about the film's significance. He emphasized, "I take immense pride in being part of 'MANDALI.' This film not only reimagines a timeless story but also preserves our cultural heritage and traditions. It underscores the importance of upholding values and morality, challenging the unfortunate depiction of the Ramayana in modern cinema."
