CBI officers reached Sandeshkhali, raided Shahjahan Sheikh's house  

Sandeshkhali village located in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal is in discussion these days. The women of the village have alleged that Shahjahan Sheikh, along with occupying their land, has also sexually exploited some women. There is an uproar regarding the attack on the ED team. The entire politics of Bengal is currently wandering around Sandeshkhali. Meanwhile, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) officials on Friday raided the Sandeshkhali house of suspended Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Shaikh.

Apart from this, CBI also visited the areas near Shahjahan Sheikh's house in the Akunchipara area of Saraberia to collect evidence in connection with the attack on ED.

One of the accused in the ration scam is Shahjahan Sheikh. Shahjahan's home in the North 24 Parganas district was raided by ED officials on January 5 as part of their investigation into the ration distribution scam. The ED officers and the central forces that were with them were then encircled by a sizable group of supporters of the Trinamool Congress. They then began to demonstrate before attacking him. From there, the team was forced to depart by the protestors. In this case, Sheikh was just taken into custody.
