The government-owned telecom operator BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) is the most affordable 4G service operator in the country. BSNL's plans are also 20-30% less expensive than the plans of the private telecom operators in most categories. The company has devoted time and efforts to increase 4G services in most parts of the country in the last few years. Although telecom operators in India have shifted to 5G, BSNL is still handling its 4G services, and that is not a negative thing either. The reason is that the possibility of availing 4G services at such a low cost is itself a very good thing. Currently, we are talking about a BSNL plan that is less than ₹100.

According to TelecomTalk, BSNL's ₹99 plan offers unlimited voice calling. Its service validity is 14 days. It only offers 50MB of high-speed 4G data, after which the speed drops to 40 Kbps. Therefore, it's fair to say that this plan isn't for heavy data users. The average daily cost of using this plan is just ₹7.07.

This is a reasonable price considering unlimited voice calling and 14 days' validity. If you go with private telecom companies, plans in this price range often come with limited talk time. BSNL's ₹99 plan is currently available in all telecom circles.

This is the company's cheapest service validity prepaid plan currently available in the voice voucher section. Furthermore, you can, of course, recharge with a data voucher from above. Data vouchers allow you to use more data. If you're willing to spend a little more, you can also purchase the ₹147 plan directly. This offers 5GB of data and unlimited voice calling for 24 days. Both plans don't offer SMS benefits. However, you can send a port-out SMS to 1900 if desired, as per TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) regulations.
