BMW i3 EV will be launched in the global market next year, know the possible details from design to performance

BMW has taken a great approach towards electric mobility by introducing the Neue Klasse platform. This dedicated electric architecture represents a strategic shift for the brand, as India is a key market in its future plans. According to the source, the emphasis would be on clean lines and aggressive surfaces, with popular BMW design elements such as the kidney grille and Hofmeister kink.

The BMW i3 will be built on the new New Classe platform, which differs from the quirky electric hatchback that went by the same name earlier. This platform will enable BMW to continue its dual-platform approach. The i3 will join BMW's electric SUV portfolio, which includes the iX3, iX4, and iX5.

Talking about the interior, it will have a new BMW Panoramic Vision interface and a new iDrive operating system. The cabin of the car will get features like multi-function massaging seats and a futuristic wraparound dashboard, which offers a mix of advanced technology, luxury, and comfort.

It can be offered with both single and dual-motor setups. The power output will likely be represented by BMW's familiar numbering system. The entry-level model could use up to 800-volt systems, offering around 300 BHP. It is expected to offer a driving range of around 700-800 KM.
