Shares of brake shoe manufacturer ASK Automotive Ltd were listed in the market today with a premium of 8 percent from its issue price of Rs 282.

Shares of ASK Auto debuted in the market at Rs 304.90 on BSE and later rose by 10.54 percent to reach Rs 311.75. The company's shares were listed on NSE at Rs 303.30 with an increase of 7.55 percent.

The mcap of the company is Rs 6,022.71 crore. ASK Automotive's IPO was subscribed 51.14 times on the last day. The company had kept the price band of this IPO at Rs 268-282 per equity share.

ASK Automotive is one of the largest manufacturers of brake-shoes and advanced braking systems for two-wheelers in India. The company's market share in FY 2022 was around 50 percent.

The company supplies security systems and critical engineering solutions with in-house designing, developing, and manufacturing capabilities.

ASK Automotive owns TVS Motor Company Limited, Hero MotoCorp, Greaves Electric Mobility and Bajaj Auto. Till the time of writing the news, the company's shares are trading at Rs 314, up by Rs 32.80 on NSE.
