2024 BMW S 1000 XR launched in Indian market, know price and features

With flow-optimized geometry, the updated 999 cc inline four-cylinder engine powers the 2024 BMW S 1000 XR. This motor can produce 114 Nm of peak torque at 9,250 rpm and 168 horsepower at 11,000 rpm. With a bi-directional quick shifter, the engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Dynamic Pro are the four riding modes available for the bike. The S 1000 XR can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 3.25 seconds and its top speed is 253 kmph.

Talking about mechanical upgrades, it includes a 320 mm twin disc brake at the front and a 220 mm single disc brake at the rear. Lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, wheelie control, cruise control, and many other electronic aids are also provided as standard in the bike. The seat height of the bike is 850 mm which can be reduced using optional accessories. The seat has been redesigned to make it better for track riding and touring.

Apart from this, the BMW Motorrad S 1000 XR gets Touring Package and Dynamics Package as standard. The Touring Package includes a luggage carrier, center stand, slot for a navigation device, hand protection, tire-pressure monitoring system, and heated grips.
