TEDx Event organised by Hindu College

Some of the eminent speakers included Ms Navika Kumar, the group editor of Times Network , the multi-talented Gaurav Juyal of Art Attack India fame,  Rashmi Trivedi,  the eminent bestselling author and poet  and  Jainul Abedin, founder CEO of space Tech start up amongst others.

Rashmi Trivedi was the first speaker of the event and when she came on stage, the excitement and the tension were palpable. With poise and power, she started her talk. There was pin drop silence in the huge hall. She was fluent and articulate as she narrated how she overcame a life challenge with her positive attitude and ‘never say die’ spirit. She not only overcame the challenge but came out a better version of herself. In her words, ‘what I thought was the end of the road, my plight; was actually the take-off point for my flight.” The message was simple yet effective. It was also very relevant in today’s time. She also talked about upon the multifarious challenges todays working women face and how to cope with them. Apart from being a poet and an author, she is also working as a Deputy General Manager in a reputed public Sector company. She finished her talk in 18 minutes and the next speaker was Vicky Sadana, a casting director from Bollywood. He spoke about his journey and how he overcame the obstacles to reach where he is today. Jainul Abedin talked about his space start-up and the audience were really impressed with his dreams, goals and achievements. Navika Kumar had the audience mesmerized through her powerful talk on the impact of journalism. Gaurav Juyal shared his life story and how he loves being a mentor to the young minds.

The TEDx event organised by Hindu College was outstanding and momentous. It had lasting impression on the young minds, which will go a long way in influencing and positively impacting their characters.
