Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars became PSL 2025 champion, got only this much money as prize money
PSL 2025 Prize Money: In the final of PSL 2025, Lahore Qalandars led by Shaheen Shah Afridi won the title by registering a spectacular victory against Quetta Gladiators. The winner Lahore Qalandars got Rs 4.25 crore as prize money while the runner-up Quetta Gladiators got about Rs 1.75 crore.
Title match of the Pakistan Super League was contested on Sunday evening, 25 May at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Lahore Qalandars led by Shaheen Shah Afridi won the title of PSL for the third time in four years by defeating the Quetta Gladiators. On this occasion, Quetta Gladiators had the first bat and scored 201 runs. Lahore responded by achieving the target with a ball remaining and secured a nail-biting victory. Through this, the Qalandars achieved the second largest successful run chase in the PSL. The third title was won by the Qalandars in the 10 year history of the PSL and they even equaled the Islamabad United's record.
Indeed, the last match of PSL 2025's final saw Quetta Gladiators bat first, and they scored 201 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets in the 20 overs allocated. Hasan Nawaz scored 76 runs and Avishka Fernando scored 29 runs for the Gladiators. Meanwhile, Shaheen Afridi bagged 3 and Haris Rauf bagged 2 wickets for Lahore.
Chasing the target of 202 runs of Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars scored 204 runs for the loss of four wickets in 19.5 overs and registered a thrilling victory by 6 wickets. For Qalandars, Kusal Perera scored 62 runs, Mohammad Naeem scored 46 runs and Abdullah Shafique scored 41 runs. At the same time, Abrar Ahmed took one wicket for Quetta.

In the PSL final, the Player of the Match award was given to Kusal Perera. At the same time, Hasan Nawaz of Quetta Gladiators was selected as the Best Batsman of the Tournament. He scored 399 runs in 12 matches. While the Best Bowler of the Tournament award was given to Abrar Ahmed, he took 17 wickets in 12 matches.
Lahore Qalandars, who won the title of Pakistan Super League 2025, has been given a prize money of 5 lakh US dollars i.e. about 4.25 crore rupees. At the same time, Quetta Gladiators, who were the runners-up, have been given a prize money of 2 lakh US dollars i.e. about one crore 70 lakh rupees.
