Are you also one of those smartphone users who forget to open the app for some time after downloading it on the phone. If yes, then very soon a new feature on the Play Store is going to make your work easier for you. With the installation of the app, the need to open it is going to end. It will auto-launch for the user.
When you download the app from the Google Play Store, it does not open directly. With the new app, the user sees the option to uninstall and open the app.
However, this is going to change very soon regarding smartphone apps. With the download of the app from the Google Play Store, it will auto-launch.
According to the latest report by Android Authority, a feature called App Auto Open is being brought for the users on Google Play Store very soon.
This feature allows the app to open as soon as it is installed on the phone. According to the source, this feature was introduced with Google Play Store version 41.4.19.
However, it is unclear whether this feature will be made available to consumers via the Play Store.
When the app auto-open feature is enabled, the user will see this information via a notification banner for five seconds. When the phone calls or vibrates, this information will be displayed as a notification.
This will be in the phone's notification settings. Users will also have the option to disable this notification.
According to the report, the App Auto Open feature will work as an optional setting for the user. That is, if the user wants, he can also keep the toggle of this setting off.
However, all users will get this feature by default from the Google Play Store. This new feature of the Google Play Store has not gone live yet.
The App Auto Open feature is currently in the testing stage. This feature will prove to be useful for those users who forget to open the app immediately after downloading it for some time.
