Confirm Train Ticket: Do you know these rules of railway, if you want confirmed ticket then first know the formula

Indian Railways, which is called the lifeline of the country, is one of the favorite modes of transport of the countrymen. Because of the comfortable and cheap ticket facilities for long distances, everyone wants to travel by train due to which there is often a problem with ticket confirmation on the train.
India is the country with the largest population in the world. There are many train routes in the country where the number of trains is less and passengers are more. Many times people have to face difficulties in getting confirmed tickets due to a lack of knowledge about railway rules. We will let you know how many days in advance you can book a train in advance.
According to the rules of Indian Railways, any passenger can book his seat four months before the departure of the train i.e. 120 days. If you do then it is very possible that you will get a confirmed ticket.
But in case of any emergency, you can also book a Tatkal ticket on the train. The Tatkal ticket is booked 24 hours before the departure of the train. To book AC Tatkal tickets, booking starts from 10 am every day whereas for sleeper tickets booking starts after one hour from 11 am.
Railways have made two rules for buying unreserved tickets i.e. general tickets. If you want to travel in general class for a distance of 199 km or less, you have to buy the ticket on the same day of departure of the train. Your ticket for this journey is valid only for 3 hours.
But if you have to travel a distance of 200 kilometers or more, then you can book a general ticket 3 days in advance.
Nowadays every person has a smartphone, in such a situation, Indian Railways gives you the facility of ticket booking sitting at home. You can book the ticket by visiting the official app of the railway IRCTC or its website.
There is no need to stand in long lines like in the olden days. Railways have made IRCTC app advanced day by day so that the users do not face any kind of problems.
