Russia's Defense Ministry said in a post on Telegram that its forces "thwarted a terrorist attack in Kyiv" and downed two drones in the suburbs west of the city center. The ministry added that during this time another drone was hit by radio-electronic equipment and went out of control and crashed into a complex of non-residential buildings in Moskva City.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that one of the drones that targeted the capital had targeted the same Moscow City tower that was attacked earlier in the week. One flew into the same tower of the Moscow City complex, which had also been affected earlier. The 21st floor was completely damaged during this attack. Glazing was completely destroyed over an area of more than 150 square meters. Sobyanin said that no one was reported injured in the attack.
