America and Iran clashes in Syria: US killed 11 Iranian soldiers in airstrike, Biden said – we will not back down

President Joe Biden's statement has come to the fore after the airstrike between Iran and the US on March 23 in Syria. Biden said - We are not going to back down. We will take strong action to protect our citizens. In fact, on Thursday, an Iran-backed group attacked the American base in Syria. In this, an American contractor was killed while 6 soldiers were injured. According to the US, Iranian drones were used in this attack.
In response to the attack, the US also carried out an airstrike on the Iranian base with its F-15 fighter jets. Iranian officials claimed that 11 of their soldiers had died in the attack. According to the US Central Command, Iran again attacked with 10 missiles. Two women and children suffered minor injuries in this.
On Friday, once again 2 American bases were attacked. 3 drones and 5 rockets were used in this. US officials said that their forces shot down 2 of the 3 drones, but one reached their base. A soldier was injured in the attack whose condition is stable.
US President Joe Biden, who went on a tour of Canada, said - We do not want any enmity with Iran, but we will not back down if our citizens are attacked. We will take strong action to protect them. At the same time, the Iranian-backed group present in Syria said – Our hands are very long and we have the power to attack American bases.
Syrian activist groups also claimed a US airstrike on an Iranian base on Friday night. However, US officials rejected this claim. Earlier, the US Air Force was put on high alert in Syria. America claims that since January 2021, Iranian-backed groups have attacked their base 78 times.
