Restructure the industry: Actors will not get money from day to day

The Telugu film industry announced a few days ago that they are stopping the shooting of all films from August 1, 2022. The makers took this decision to restructure the industry. But now it is being said that its ban has been removed. Along with this, it is also being said that the shooting of Telugu films will resume from next week.
According to the report of Pink Villa, it is being said that the Film Chamber and the Active Producers Guild have decided that no actor will get money on a day-to-day basis, as it used to. Apart from this, it is also being said that they have agreed on an 8-week window for the OTT release of any project. This means that no film will be released on the OTT platform for 8 weeks after the release of the film.
Telugu filmmakers had taken the decision to stop shooting because they wanted to restructure the industry. Making films in 2022 has become very expensive. In such a situation, due to Corona from 2020 to 2021, the income coming from the cinema hall was greatly reduced. This decision has been taken to compensate for this loss.
The Telugu film producers shared the statement and wrote, "Keeping in view the changing revenue situation post-pandemic, it has become necessary for us producers discuss all the issues that we are facing as filmmakers. It is our responsibility to improve our ecosystem and ensure that we are releasing our films in a healthy environment. In this regard, all the members of the Guild have decided to stop the shooting from August 1, 2022, so that we all sit together to discuss it and find a solution.
