Donald Trump starts campaign to become President again
Donald Trump starts a campaign to become President again: Makes fun of those who use electric vehicles, makes lewd comments about transgenders
Former US President Donald Trump has started a campaign to become President again. On Saturday, he visited the places in America where voting will take place first in the 2024 election. These include New Hampshire and South Carolina. According to the New York Times, this time Trump's campaign is not so grand.
He is holding small meetings with the party people. However, there has not been much difference in the way of his speech and claims. In New Hampshire, Trump mocked people who use electric vehicles and made lewd comments about transgender people. Trump said that after coming to power, he will not allow transgenders to participate in women's sports.
Trump may have started the campaign on a small scale, but there has been no decrease in his attitude. In South Carolina, Donald Trump told his party leaders – Now I have more anger, I am more dedicated than ever.
He also said that this is just the beginning, we will hold more grand rallies in the future. Also told that his agenda for America would be the exact opposite of Biden's. He criticized the Democratic Party over crime and immigrants.
To become the President of America again, Donald Trump will have to first win the candidature race from his own party. In fact, on behalf of the Republican Party, not only Trump, but Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has also staked claim to become the presidential candidate. For which he is continuously attacking DeSantis.
Also, there is a high chance that Indian-origin Nikki Haley, who represented America in the UN during Trump's government, can also present her claim on behalf of the Republican Party.
Trump started the campaign after announcing the restoration of his account on Facebook and Instagram. Trump's social media accounts were blocked on 6 January 2021 following the violence in the US Parliament. However, after this Trump created his own social media platform 'Truth Social'.
Trump has many challenges before contesting the presidential election. In November, his family real estate company, The Trump Organization, which earned Donald Trump billions, was found guilty of several crimes, including tax fraud. In a trial that lasted nearly a month, the jury convicted Trump's company on 17 counts. It is obvious that his rivals and Democrats in the party itself will surround Trump on this matter during the election.
Apart from this, the House of Representatives, the lower house of the US Parliament, has considered Trump accused of a major conspiracy in the case of the Capitol Hill attack. Reports released last month said that Trump supporters attacked the US Parliament on January 6 to change the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. It was Trump who instigated him to carry out this entire incident.
Apart from the tax evasion and Capitol violence case, Trump is also surrounded by the matter of keeping intelligence files with him. According to The Washington Post, the National Archive had said that Trump took 15 boxes of papers with him when he left the White House after losing the presidential election. These were recovered from the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. These documents also include correspondence with Kim Jong Un.
