Now you can take care of your privacy on WhatsApp even with the desktop app. An old feature that was removed from WhatsApp has returned. Actually, information about this has been given in the latest report of Wabetainfo. According to this report, the View Once setting can now be used while sending photos and videos on WhatsApp desktop.

The company has started rolling out this feature. There were also reports of this feature being removed from the desktop app earlier. However, exactly one year later this feature can be used with the desktop app.

You can change the View once (View once WhatsApp) setting by clicking on the half-circle one on the right side of the emoji before sending the photo/video on the desktop app. When the View Once setting is enabled, the sent photo/video is opened only once.

The View Once WhatsApp setting can be used with Windows, macOS, and linked devices. However, if you are not able to find this setting even after the latest update on your PC, then you can wait for a few more days for it.

WhatsApp is in the process of rolling out this feature, so the setting is being gradually extended to the users.
