There have been new guidelines introduced by the state government of Rajasthan for securing the Secretariat. According to a notice of the Department of Personnel, there would be no outsider, visitor or any vehicle that could access the premises of the Secretariat without obtaining prior permission or a Secretariat pass.

As per the notice of the government, the Secretariat has been declared a highly sensitive establishment where security and confidentiality concerns increased due to an influx of individuals holding temporary passes before and after official hours as well as on holiday days. The notice is applicable immediately.

According to the notice, the employees and officers must carry a valid pass or ID card issued by the security officer while they remain at the Secretariat. It has been stated that temporary pass holders are not allowed to access the Secretariat before and after office hours or on holiday days.

Declaring the Secretariat complex a "No Photography Zone," the government has classified unauthorized photography or videography as a punishable offense. Additionally, security personnel have been authorized to conduct thorough searches of any person or vehicle entering the premises. Under the new orders, only authorized vehicles will be allowed entry and must be parked only in designated areas.

The circular clarifies that action will be taken against violators under service rules, security regulations, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). The government has instructed all officers and security personnel to ensure strict compliance with these rules.
