Railway minister of the Union, Ashwani Vaishnav, launched two major railway projects for Sikar to broaden railway infrastructure in the Shekhawati region. On a visit to the Sikar railway station, several issues relating to railway development in the area were talked about, and the construction of pit line in Sikar railway station and a new railway station between Sundarpur and Khatu Shyam Ji stations were soon approved. This has made the residents of the region very happy.
On his arrival in Sikar, the railway minister was received with warmth by the BJP workers along with some local representatives. During the visit, the former Member of Parliament, Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati urged the Railway Minister to expand railway facilities in the area.
The pit line to be constructed at the Sikar railway station will enable local-level facilities for train cleaning, maintenance, and technical inspections. This will streamline train operations and strengthen the prospects of running new trains from Sikar in the future. Railway officials believe this project will play a pivotal role in enhancing the station's operational efficiency.
The construction of the new railway station between Sundarpur and Khatu Shyam Ji will bring great relief to the lakhs of pilgrims visiting the world-famous Khatu Shyam Ji temple. The new station will not only provide better rail facilities for passengers but also facilitate easier commuting for local residents.
The construction of the new railway station is also likely to improve tourism, trade and local economic activities in the area. The rural and urban areas around will also benefit directly from the better rail connectivity, said Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati, former MP, thanking Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. “These two projects will prove to be milestones in the railway history of the Shekhawati region,” he said, expressing confidence that these schemes would be implemented fast and the benefits would be enjoyed by the people of Sikar and its surrounding areas for long.
On behalf of the region's residents, Swami Sumedhanand Saraswati thanked Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for these decisions taken in the public interest. He noted that the Central Government is consistently prioritizing the development of infrastructure in the Shekhawati region and that the expansion of the rail network will provide a significant boost to the area's economic and social development in the future.
