Players will be auctioned on July 5 for the second edition of the Delhi Premier League T20 (DPL) tournament. This auction list also includes two special players, who will draw everyone's attention. One is a young cricketer who is the nephew of legendary batsman Virat Kohli and the son of former explosive batsman Virender Sehwag. Interestingly, both these players share the name Aryaveer. DDCA announced that the DPL could start in late July. The first edition of this league was very successful.
Aryaveer Kohli is the son of Virat's older brother and is learning cricket skills from Rajkumar Sharma. Sharma has been Virat's childhood coach, and many young players from his academy have played at the professional level.
Sehwag's older son's name is also Aryavir, and he has already made it to Delhi's Under-19 team. The 17-year-old Aryavir gained attention by scoring 297 runs against Meghalaya. Reports also say that, besides Aryavir, Sehwag's younger son, 15-year-old Vedant, has also registered for the DPL auction. Aryavir is a batsman, while Vedant is an off-spinner.
