Recently, Mercedes-Benz introduced their latest electric sedan model, EQS Facelift. This particular model is claimed to travel 926 kilometers when fully charged according to WLTP standards, ranking it among the cars with the longest ranges ever. Besides, new technologies such as 800V fast-charging capabilities have been incorporated into the new model.
Now, the Mercedes-Benz EQS comes fitted with 800V technology. 800V improves on the battery capacity and range. Previously, although the EQS had good battery capacity and range, the 400V tech was behind other competitors, for example, the Tesla Model S in the international market.
Thus, the new model offers a maximum distance of 926 kilometers, making it one of the longest-range sedans available.
Mercedes-Benz now offers a larger battery pack of up to 122 kWh, while some of its smaller models feature a 112 kWh battery. This electric sedan supports 350 kW fast charging. Under optimal conditions, a 10-minute charge can provide a range of approximately 320 km.
The car features the same large MBUX Hyperscreen, which combines three displays under a single glass panel. It now runs on the company's latest MB.OS software, which is faster than before. It features OTA updates and smart AI voice support. A 13.1-inch entertainment screen is provided for rear passengers.
In addition, it also features heated front seatbelts and upgraded parking assist. It also gets cloud-based predictive air suspension and many other advanced features.
