Shivrajpur Beach Emerges as Gujarat’s Coastal Pride with Visit by Femina Miss India Runners-Up
Shivrajpur Beach today reflects Gujarat Tourism’s broader vision — sustainable growth, experiential travel, and infrastructure designed for the future.
In a celebration of Gujarat’s growing coastal tourism, Femina Miss India 2023 1st Runner Up Shreya Poonja and 2024 1st Runner Up Rekha Pandayy recently visited Shivrajpur Beach, the state’s first Blue Flag certified shoreline.
Located near Dwarka, the beach exemplifies global environmental and safety standards while offering visitors an immersive marine experience. Clean horizons, regulated activity zones, and crystal-clear waters position Shivrajpur as a benchmark destination along the Arabian Sea coast.
The visit highlighted the beach’s adventure-friendly ecosystem. Scuba diving, jet skiing, and designated water sports areas ensure excitement without compromising safety. The pristine, uncluttered landscape has also attracted filmmakers and content creators, adding to its rising profile.
Sharing her perspective, Rekha Pandayy said, “It’s inspiring to see a beach in India maintained at such high standards. There’s adventure, but also discipline and structure. It feels like the beginning of something big.”
Strategically located close to spiritual landmarks such as Beyt Dwarka and cultural hubs like Madhavpur, Shivrajpur offers visitors a blend of devotion, heritage, and leisure. The development of Sudarshan Setu has further strengthened the region’s tourism circuit.
Future plans, including an amphitheatre and a large event ground, indicate the beach’s transformation into a venue for concerts and large-scale cultural gatherings.
Shreya Poonja noted, “The infrastructure here shows foresight. It’s not just about today’s visitors, but about building a long-term cultural and tourism landmark.”
