Angela Krislinzki on Bold Roles, Fitness, Global Projects, and Staying Grounded
Angela Krislinzki in an exclusive interview opens up on her bold film choices, fitness mantra, global projects, experience with Vikram Bhatt, and how she stays positive in Bollywood.

Actress Angela Krislinzki, who has made her mark in South films, music videos, and Bollywood, sat down for an exclusive conversation where she opened up about her career choices, fitness mantra, and upcoming projects. Known for her versatility, Angela revealed her love for bold and complex roles, her disciplined lifestyle, and her vision for global opportunities.
Exploring Bold and Dark Characters
When asked about experimenting with unconventional roles, Angela admitted her fondness for grey characters. “I enjoy bold and dark roles because they allow me to explore a completely different dimension as an actor. In most South films and music videos, I’ve played the positive, girl-next-door type. But when I did Vikram Bhatt’s 1921, it was refreshing to play an anti-hero. I feel nice when I’m challenged with such roles.”
Beauty, Fitness, and Staying Positive
Angela credits her radiant appearance to discipline. “For me, diet is everything. You are what you eat. Fitness and gym matter, but eating clean is the key. Also, I don’t just watch what I eat, I filter what I consume mentally. I avoid negativity on social media and prefer staying positive,” she shared.
Experience with Vikram Bhatt
Speaking about her film 1921, she said, “Working with Vikram Bhatt sir was a dream. The challenging part was playing a haunted negative character. Having seen Adah Sharma’s powerful performance in 1921, I felt the pressure, but it turned out to be a great experience shooting in London.”
Going Global
With many Indian actors moving to international cinema, Angela too has tested global waters. “I did a project in Los Angeles where I played a mini-chair agent in a spy-based story. OTT has opened doors for crossover opportunities, and I’m excited to explore more of them,” she revealed.
Staying Grounded in a Demanding Industry
In a cut-throat industry like Bollywood, Angela believes gratitude keeps her grounded. “An actor shines only because of the team behind them—technicians, writers, directors. We should remain humble and thankful to everyone who makes it possible.”
Handling Negativity
On dealing with online trolling, she said, “Everyone has their own perception. With social media, it’s easy to comment or criticize. I don’t take it personally. If it gets too negative, I just block or delete. It doesn’t change reality.”
Upcoming Projects
Angela recently featured in the music video Saiyaan Ji and is gearing up for her OTT project Satta, where she plays a politician. She is also attending workshops with mentor Saurabh Sachdeva to prepare for another yet-to-be-revealed project.
A Message to Fans
Angela concluded with a thoughtful note: “In today’s social media age, we often compare ourselves with others. Instead, we should focus on becoming the best version of ourselves every day.”
