When contacted and asked about his thoughts on this kind act, Shalin shared, “Well, I am redoing my house and wardrobe, and I happened to stumble upon more than 300 clothes stacked in my wardrobe for months. Usually, actors rent clothes, but for Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi, I purchased my own. There were also quite a few clothes gifted by Salman sir (Khan) from his Being Human brand that didn’t fit me. Since many of these clothes were unused, I gathered all of them and decided to gift them to kids in need. In this way, I decluttered my life.”
