A new 5G phone from Vivo has been launched in China named Vivo Y6a. The device emphasizes long-lasting battery life, durability, and sharp graphics. The budget-friendly phone works with a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and is equipped with the latest OriginOS.
The Vivo Y6a smartphone has a 6.75 inches LCD display with 1570 x 720 pixels of screen resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,200 nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and has 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 of storage.
The device houses a large 7,200mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. Vivo claims the battery is designed to retain its health effectively, boasting a lifespan of 1,800 charging cycles. In terms of optics, the phone sports a 50-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It also supports up to 8GB of virtual RAM and runs on OriginOS 6, based on Android 16. In terms of features, the Vivo Y6A smartphone comes with stereo speakers, NFC, an IR blaster, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock, dual SIM support, and an IP69/IP68 rating. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and support for the aptX Adaptive audio codec.
The Vivo Y6A has been launched in a single variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, priced at 1,999 Yuan (approximately ₹28,000). It is available in three color options: Black, Silver, and Gold.
