Kia, an automobile manufacturer, sells various kinds of vehicles in India. As per reports, Kia is set to roll out the new-generation Kia Sonet soon. However, before launching the car, the company was caught testing the car again.

According to reports, Kia is preparing for the unveiling of the new-generation Sonet. Prior to that, the SUV was captured during testing phases again.

During the test, it was found that the car was completely covered with camouflage. However, some information regarding its design and features has been revealed. The next-generation SUV, which has been spotted, is likely to come with redesigned front and rear bumpers, split headlamps, LED headlamps, a redesigned grille, and alloy wheels.

According to reports, the new generation Sonet may also offer several new features, including a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, a connected infotainment system and instrument cluster, and a new interior. The SUV's rear seats may also be ventilated.

Kia will offer the same petrol and diesel engine options as the current generation Sonet. The manufacturer may also offer this SUV with a hybrid engine in the near future.

The manufacturer has not officially announced the launch of the new generation of the SUV. However, it is expected to be launched in India by late 2026 or early 2027.

In the Indian market, Kia offers the Sonet in the compact SUV segment. In this segment, it will compete with SUVs like the Kia Syros, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, and Mahindra XUV 3XO.
