The release date of the Vivo TWS 5e in China is expected to be in late May, alongside its new flagship phone Vivo S60. Vivo has teased the coming release of the Vivo TWS 5e with teaser images in its official pages. Some information about the upcoming earphones has been made known before the release, and pre-order for the earphones in China is now available. Vivo has been launching its series of TWS earphones under the TWS 5 model line recently.
In an official Weibo post from Vivo, the Vivo TWS 5e launch in China is confirmed to be on May 29. Pre-orders for these earphones are currently being taken in the country, and the company has teased three color options: black, green, and white.
In terms of design, the Vivo TWS 5e earbuds feature a stem-style look with silicone ear tips and rounded outer shells. The charging case features a smooth, oval shape with a glossy finish. The case features the Vivo logo on the front, a small LED status indicator, and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
The company is positioning these earphones as an excellent audio accessory for work and productivity, with hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 55dB. The company claims it's designed to reduce ambient noise and distracting sounds with just a single tap.
Vivo also claims the Vivo TWS 5e can deliver a massive battery life of up to 55 hours, including the charging case, eliminating the hassle of frequent charging. The earbuds are also said to feature immersive panoramic sound for a better and more spacious listening experience. Pricing and other specifications are expected to be revealed soon.
These earphones will join the company's existing Vivo TWS 5 series, which already includes the standard Vivo TWS 5 and Vivo TWS 5 Hi-Fi, which were introduced in China in October 2025. Those models are claimed to offer up to 60dB of ANC. Without ANC, these headsets can deliver up to 48 hours of playback time with the case.
In addition, in March this year, the company also launched the Vivo TWS 5i, which comes with a total battery life of 50 hours but does not support ANC.
