The Government of Rajasthan has made an end to waiting and has lifted the ban on transfer of government employees/officials. The Department of Personnel has issued an order that permits the process of transfers/postings from June 20 to July 5.

As per this government order, the process of transfers may take place within the departments. The priorities will include the transfer of single women, widowed women, deserted women, and those who have health issues. Special consideration will be paid to the transfer of employees suffering from cancer, heart problems, kidneys problems, lungs problems, or neurological disorders.

This order applies to employees of the state government department as well as employees of corporatons, boards, and autonomous bodies.

However, the government has excluded certain sensitive posts within the Education and Medical departments from this process. Grade III teachers in the Education Department will not be transferred. Similarly, nursing officers, lab technicians, doctors, and other medical personnel in the Medical Department have been kept out of the transfer process.

This transfer window for government employees will remain open until July 5, after which the ban on transfers may be reimposed.
