Automobile maker Maruti Suzuki has begun testing the upcoming 2026 Baleno Facelift in India. An initial prototype of the car was spotted during its test drive for the very first time.
The launch of Baleno Facelift is scheduled in India towards the end of the year 2026. The car spotted during testing was entirely wrapped up in camouflages. Let us know the probable design changes, features, and specifications of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno.
The prototype car spotted by the media was completely camouflaged, however, some information has become available. The overall appearance at the front end remains the same, except for a wider grill and a different design for the headlight and bumper.
From the side perspective, the Baleno Facelift is the same as that of the existing version, except for new alloy wheels on the vehicle.
The interior of the car has not been revealed yet and remains completely camouflaged. The interiors of the upcoming model are expected to retain the features and design of the present one, with the exception of an upgraded interior with fresh seat upholstery for the premium hatchback model. The Baleno Facelift is likely to offer a larger screen, ventilated seats, and various other features to enhance comfort.
The Fronx Facelift was previously spotted testing with Level-2 ADAS; consequently, there is speculation that the company might introduce this feature in the Baleno as well.
The engine and power output of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift are expected to remain largely unchanged. However, the company might introduce a new hybrid engine in this hatchback. The Baleno Facelift could feature a 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a battery-powered electric motor. Additionally, this hybrid engine is expected to further improve the Baleno's mileage.
