Jaipur Police has created a new application named PinkGuard and an intelligent system known as Crowd Guard to enhance safety measures for local and foreign tourists. Based on a “Tourist First” concept, this initiative intends to prevent any tourist fraud cases, monitor crowd movements, and offer emergency services. Furthermore, the application contains a provision for a rapid response team.

Speaking about the features of the application, Jaipur Police Commissioner, Sachin Mittal revealed that 20 prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur, which witness maximum footfall, have been recognized. Detailed information is available at these places through the application.

According to Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, the app also includes an emergency button, which is directly linked to the 'Abhay' command and control room. If a tourist faces any kind of problem, they can immediately seek police assistance by pressing this button.

To prevent fraud against tourists, Jaipur Police has also added a list of authorized tourist guides to the app. The app includes photographs and mobile numbers of authorized guides associated with each tourist destination, ensuring tourists can only use the services of verified guides.

The artificial intelligence-based 'Crowd Guard' system will monitor crowd levels at tourist destinations. This will help in crowd control, security management, and better management of tourist movement.

Jaipur Police say that the aim of this initiative is to provide a safe, transparent, and convenient experience for tourists. Security arrangements at tourist places will be further strengthened through new technology.
