There is little hope of any relief from the heat in Rajasthan in the coming days. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in minimum and maximum temperatures in most parts of the state. At the same time, the intense heat wave is likely to continue in western and southeastern Rajasthan.
According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, several districts in the Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions are likely to experience intense heatwaves and hot nights for the next four to five days. Maximum temperatures in southeastern Rajasthan are also expected to reach between 44 and 45 degrees Celsius. Heatwaves and intense heat at night may also trouble people in some areas.
However, the impact of a western disturbance is expected to change the weather in some parts of the state. During the next 48 hours, strong winds with thunderstorms and winds of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are likely in Bikaner division, Shekhawati region, and northern districts of Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions. Drizzle is also expected at some places.
The Meteorological Department has advised people to avoid sun exposure during the afternoon, drink adequate water, and be cautious of heat waves. According to experts, the heat will be most intense in western Rajasthan this week.
