Currently, Akshat is prepping for his lead role in “An Ordinary Day,” a new play directed by Emmy and Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Fox. The much awaited production is all set to open in New York on June 22nd! Simultaneously, he is gearing up for the release and further filming of “Dharm,” an upcoming TV series that honors the unsung heroes of India—the house-help. Akshat also features as a guest star in the season finale of the upcoming show “Are We Famous Yet?”. This enviable dual commitment to the stage and the screen further reflect his versatility and relentless work ethic.
Akshat’s talents are not confined to acting alone. He has made significant strides in the fashion industry, having recently walked the runway for acclaimed designers such as Miguel Wilson and Ryan Singleton at New York Fashion Week 2023-24. His presence on the runways has been as mesmerizing as his stage performances, earning him accolades from fashion critics and designers alike. He is now represented by one of USA’s most reputed talent agencies – Eris Talent Agency.
In addition to his acting and fashion achievements, Akshat will soon be seen in the popular sandwich chain- Subway’s new commercial, adding another feather to his cap! His ability to seamlessly transition between different forms of media underscores his adaptability and broad appeal in the international entertainment and fashion industry.
Akshat’s previous work includes leading roles in the off-Broadway musicals “Ramaavan” and “Holiday Beat.” His portrayal of King Raavan in “Ramaavan” was particularly praised for its rigor and honesty, as he brought a complex character to life with nuance and intensity. He also featured as the lead actor / dancer, and even contributed as the choreographer in the music video for Arcane Motif’s new single “Kahaniyaan”, further showcasing his multifaceted talents.
