Educated at New Baldwin Residential School and later at the Indian Academy Group of Institutions, Prashanth enrolled in Computer Science Engineering at AMCEC before choosing in 2016 to step away and pursue independent creative and entrepreneurial paths.

His journey into writing began accidentally at the age of nine, when he stumbled upon something lyrical that refused to fade from memory. By sixteen, he was writing fervently. Years later, the pace intensified—ideas arriving with urgency, demanding capture before they vanished. Writing, for him, became instinct rather than intention.

While exploring poetic forms, Prashanth encountered the cinquain—introduced by Adelaide Crapsey. The discipline of compressing vast emotional oceans into minimal syllables fascinated him.

Beyond poetry, Prashanth immerses himself in sketching, painting, music, photography, and collecting feathers and coins. Professionally trained in Western classical guitar, he also plays the flute and sings, with aspirations of composing original music in the near future.
His curiosity spans art, literature, philosophy, history, technology, nature, space, wildlife, travel, and life itself—a list that continues to evolve.
What Lies Ahead
Prashanth has already completed multiple volumes of poetry and envisions building this poetic body of work before venturing into longer forms. A novel may emerge five years from now, once his poetry series reaches completion.
Though romantic and philosophical themes dominate his present work, he is intrigued by detective fiction, high fantasy, humorous erotica, and even nihilistic explorations in later years. Each genre, he believes, is a doorway waiting for the right moment.
