Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], September 12: Music plays a transformative role in a child’s development, nurturing creativity, emotional expression, and cognitive growth. Swapna Abraham, a record-setting singer-songwriter, is tapping into the power of music with her latest creation, A Children’s Song A Day, a five-volume songbook series composed of 1000 original songs. Each song is designed to inspire, educate, and bring joy to children while providing a lasting legacy for future generations.
The collection is unique in including full versions and karaoke tracks, allowing children to engage with the music actively. The songs, embedded with values and life lessons, encourage self-expression, imagination, and emotional healing. Swapna, who composed one song each day for 1000 days, hopes the music will resonate with children, their caregivers, and educators.
“Music reaches parts of the human psyche that most communication methods don’t,” Swapna explains. “It helps improve focus and creativity while teaching children important life values.” With this project, she offers a timeless resource that children of all ages—and even adults—can enjoy and learn from.
