Dance Ka Mahasangram: Celebrating Culture and Talent with GVMuruga Media and DND

New Delhi [India], June 30: In a dazzling celebration of dance, culture, and youthful talent, the city of Nagpur witnessed an unforgettable evening on June 20, 2025, as GVMuruga Media, in collaboration with Dance Nagpur Dance (DND), hosted the grand cultural event “Dance Ka Mahasangram 2025” at the iconic Suresh Bhatt Auditorium, Reshimbag. The event brought together 85 talented performers from across Maharashtra, ranging in age from 4 to 30 years, offering them an inclusive platform to showcase their passion, creativity, and cultural pride. The energy and enthusiasm in the auditorium were palpable from the moment the event began, drawing in families, cultural connoisseurs, and dance lovers in large numbers.
The evening began with a warm welcome from the organizers and a traditional lamp lighting ceremony symbolizing unity and the spirit of artistic expression. The event was honored by the presence of eminent chief guests including Dr. Mahendra Dhawade, National President of the Baliraja Party; Amol Thackeray, Metropolitan Minister of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Nagpur; Sunita Sharma, President of the Parashuram Brahmin Society; Hargovind Meena, a senior cultural patron; Viju Dahake, President of the Nag Vasuki Press; Pankaj Ambaji, Secretary of Nag Vasuki Press; and Sachin Deshmukh, District Co-ordinator of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Ms. Aditi Mehta Tondgaonkar, a well-known classical dance expert; Mr. Pruthvi Soni, a celebrated dancer and model; and Dr. Anoma Sakhare, a respected Bharatanatyam exponent. Their insightful comments and encouraging feedback inspired participants to bring out their very best on stage.
Adding star power to the event were special guests from the entertainment industry, including ‘Time Travel’ web series actor Sumit Mehra and Amol and Alok Khatnani Brothers, known for their roles in the web series Bad Cop. The organizing efforts were led by Directors of GVMuruga Media, George Dhawade and Rajeshwari Dhawade, Financial Advisor, with strong support from Bharat Pise, Co-Founder of GVMuruga Media, and Rutika Daf, Founder of Rutikas Comely Makeover, who added glamour to the event with her creative makeup styling.
