Jaipur – In an ambitious initiative to green the Pink City, 93.5 Red FM has teamed up with Nagar Nigam Heritage Jaipur to launch "JungleRaaj," a large-scale environmental campaign aiming to plant six lakh trees across the city by August 15. This effort reflects the radio station's commitment to expanding green spaces and promoting sustainable practices.

The "JungleRaaj" campaign seeks to create urban forests using the Miyawaki Technique, known for its efficiency in rapidly restoring biodiversity in limited spaces. Additionally, around one lakh seed balls will be distributed, encouraging individuals to contribute to the city's greenery in a simple yet impactful manner.

Red FM’s popular RJs – RJ Nikhil, RJ Arjun, RJ Jia, and RJ Ravindra – are at the forefront of this initiative, traveling across Jaipur to spread the word. They are visiting a variety of locations, including schools, colleges, NGOs, government offices, army cantonments, public parks, forts, and heritage sites. Their visits aim to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and motivate the public to participate actively.

To involve the community, Red FM has made it easy for residents to contribute to the cause. By giving a missed call to the station's official number, 9587870935, participants can have ten trees planted on their behalf. This simple action not only helps the environment but also fosters a sense of collective responsibility among the citizens.
