The Vivo Y6e 5G model has been launched in China as the latest budget smartphone in the company range. It comes in three color variants. The smartphone is powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 4 series chip. It offers a 6,500mAh battery along with a 15W wired charger. It has a rear camera and a front-facing 5MP camera. This model has dimensions of 8.39mm thickness and 209gm weight. It has a plastic body.

In China, the single variant of the Vivo Y6e 5G model has been launched which is based on 6GB of RAM and 256GB storage capacity. It has been priced at CNY 1,599 (around ₹22,000). It can be purchased through Vivo China online website. It comes in three color variants - Flowing Clouds White, Sunset Blue, and Twilight Black.

The dual-SIM capable Vivo Y6e 5G runs on OriginOS 6, which is based on Android 16. This smartphone features a 6.74-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) LCD touchscreen display, offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, peak brightness of 1,200 nits, 16.7 million colors, a pixel density of 260 ppi, 83% NTSC coverage, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. The company claims the handset holds an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

This new Vivo Y-series smartphone is powered by Qualcomm's 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. The processor includes six efficiency cores clocked at 1.95GHz and two performance cores delivering a peak clock speed of 2.2GHz. Additionally, the Vivo Y6e 5G comes with an Adreno 613 GPU, 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

In terms of photography, the Vivo Y6e 5G features a single 13-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture, supporting 10x digital zoom and autofocus. For selfies and video calls, the budget smartphone includes a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture and 2x digital zoom. The handset supports video recording at up to 1080p resolution.

For power, the Vivo Y6e 5G is equipped with a 6,500mAh battery that supports 15W wired charging. The handset supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C port, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, QZSS, and Galileo. In terms of onboard sensors, it includes a gravity sensor, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, e-compass, and IR blaster. For security, the phone features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It measures 167.4×77.1×8.39mm and weighs approximately 209 grams.
