Lenovo has announced the arrival of the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 tablets as the new version from its range of tablet devices in international markets. This latest Lenovo tablet device uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset and supports up to 12 GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The latest Lenovo tablet comes with a kickstand with 360-degree rotation and wide-angle tilt support. The latest Lenovo tablet device has a 9-speaker audio system which has been designed by JBL. The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 comes with a 12.1-inch 2.5K panel and has a 10,200mAh battery along with 45W fast charging technology.
The price tag of the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 starts at $399.99 (Rs. 37,000). The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is currently available for pre-order in Europe starting at EUR 479.01 (Rs. 52,000). It comes with RAM and storage options in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB combinations.
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 arrives with the Android 16 operating system. The company has announced that it will be updated to Android 18 and will get security patches till 2030. The display on Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is a 12.1-inch 2.5K (1,600×2,560 pixels) IGZO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is claimed to support peak brightness of 800 nits. Additionally, the display supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision technology and comes with an anti-fingerprint (AF) coating.
For performance, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor. It comes with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of fast UFS 3.1 internal storage. This storage can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card.
For photography, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus. For selfies and video calls, it has an 8-megapixel front camera.
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is equipped with nine-speaker JBL tuned setup with Dolby Atmos technology. There is also a dedicated Bluetooth speaker mode, so the tablet can be used as a stand-alone speaker. Users can play and control music from their phone. The tablet also supports Dolby Audio. The 360-degree rotating folding stand allows users to adjust the stand for different viewing angles for watching videos or attending video calls.
The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is powered by a 10,200mAh battery with 45W charging. It is claimed to deliver up to 15 hours of YouTube video streaming time on a single charge. The tablet also supports the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and Lenovo Wireless Keyboard, which can be purchased separately.
