The tech company has officially revealed through its Twitter handle that the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will hit the Indian market soon enough. This new device will take the place of the Galaxy M44 launched in 2023. There is a dedicated microsite of the Galaxy M47 5G which is currently up in India and showcases the design, color options, and availability date of this upcoming new device. The rear camera module of this mobile phone is pill-shaped just like that of the new Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 and it has a flat back. Recently, this M-series mobile phone was spotted on a benchmarking site featuring an octa-core Snapdragon chipset.

There is a special microsite of the Galaxy M47 5G in India which has been created with the tagline "Next Level Monster." This clearly implies that the Galaxy M-series mobile phone is arriving soon. The microsite hints towards the design, featuring a flat back and pill-shaped camera module in the top-left side of the phone. The rear camera module of this phone has a triple camera setup along with an LED flash located beside it.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy M47 5G will feature the power button and volume rockers on the right side. It has also been confirmed that the handset will be sold via Amazon in India. The new Galaxy M47 5G will certainly be offered in at least one red color option.

Samsung has not yet revealed the official marketing name for this red color variant. Furthermore, details regarding its specific launch date, pricing, key specifications, and features are yet to be disclosed, though announcements could be made in the coming days.

This development follows the recent listing of the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G-bearing model number SM-476B-on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The handset was spotted featuring Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which comprises four efficiency cores clocked at 1.8GHz and four performance cores delivering a peak clock speed of 2.4GHz.

The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is also expected to launch with an Adreno 710 GPU and at least 8GB of RAM. According to reports, the handset will ship with Android 16 out of the box. In terms of GPU performance, the Samsung Galaxy M47 5G scored 2,256 points in the Geekbench AI OpenCL test. As previously mentioned, this smartphone will serve as an upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy M44, which was released in 2023.
