The Redmi Turbo 5 is the first phone from Xiaomi's Turbo range of devices to hit India, and it was launched on Friday. It is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, which has up to 12GB LPDDR5x Ultra RAM, along with UFS 4.1 memory. It has a massive 7,540mAh battery which supports 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse wired charging. Some of the highlights of this phone are the 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary rear camera, a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED panel, and dust and water-resistant design with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K certifications.

The prices of this phone start at ₹37,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the other variant costs ₹40,999 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. An early bird offer is that eligible SBI, ICICI Bank, and Axis Bank card holders can get ₹2,000 off right away. This phone will be sold through Amazon, Mi.com, and Xiaomi's offline stores.

The Redmi Turbo 5 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate, peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits, Dolby Vision support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The company claims that the phone meets IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.
