Kareena Kapoor Khan has a new gig, and it's not a film set. The actor has been brought on by MINI as the face of its Countryman C, with the brand welcoming her into what it calls its "Inner Circle" through a social media announcement this week.
The pairing isn't subtle about what it's going for. MINI's post leaned on the idea of two strong personalities sharing a frame — "what happens when two icons with a bold personality share one frame? The real fun begins," the brand wrote, before getting into specifics about the car itself.
In the same post, MINI called the Countryman C its biggest SUV yet, pitching it on space and what it described as "unmistakable MINI attitude." The line "a partnership built on individuality" did a lot of the heavy lifting in tying the actor's public image to the car's positioning.
The campaign photos that came with the announcement show Kapoor Khan next to a green Countryman C, dressed head-to-toe in monochrome — a deliberately clean, premium look that matches the tone the brand has been going for.
MINI hasn't said how long the partnership runs or shared any commercial terms, and it's unclear whether more campaign material — video, print, events — is still to come.
Daayra Lands in September
Away from car campaigns, Kapoor Khan has a film to think about too. Daayra, directed by Meghna Gulzar, is set to hit theatres on September 18, 2026. Prithviraj Sukumaran shares the lead, and the film is being produced by Junglee Pictures alongside Pen Studios.
It's worth noting this isn't Gulzar's first rodeo with Junglee Pictures — she previously worked with the studio on Talvar and Raazi, both of which did well critically. Daayra makes it three.
No trailer or first-look material has been released yet, and further promotional details for the film are expected closer to the release date.
