According to media reports, Maruti Suzuki has discontinued production of the Maruti Ignis, a vehicle offered in the compact SUV segment. However, no formal information has been provided by the manufacturer on this matter.
Though still available on the company website, the product might soon be discontinued by Maruti Suzuki. The discontinuation could be followed by a launch of the new model known under the codename Y43 next year.
Reports suggest that the manufacturer has discontinued the car due to its consistently declining sales. The car may be discontinued after dealers currently have sold the remaining units.
