If you're a user of Telegram, there is exciting news for you! The company just released a new update, in which several valuable features have been added. The new update includes powerful monetization tools, which will be beneficial for creative content creators as well as for the security of the users.

There is a new premium user feature in which the user can lock the price (in Stars) for accepting messages from strangers. The feature will keep spam at bay, keep the inbox organized, and let the user earn Telegram Stars.

And when someone you don't know messages you for the very first time, you will get a message with such information as the sender's country, your shared groups, sender account history (account creation time), whether it is a revised or regular account. This will shield you from spam messages and fake accounts.

Telegram has added another new feature, allowing users to gift premium subscriptions to others using their Stars. Users can withdraw the Stars earned from Star Messages after 21 days. These can also be used in Telegram Ads.

Now users can pin a maximum of 6 gifts on their profile cover. This can be managed by going to Settings > My Profile > Gifts.
